Terms of Service

1. Purpose and Application

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern the use of recording, mixing, and mastering services (the "Services") provided by Frottoncoreio 合同会社 (the "Studio"). By requesting or using the Services, the client agrees to be bound by these Terms.

These Terms are operated in accordance with Japanese legislation, including the Consumer Contract Act and the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions. For information on data handling, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

2. Bookings and Contract Formation

Clients may request a booking via the contact form or by telephone. A binding contract is formed once the Studio accepts the request and sends a formal booking confirmation.

Clients under the age of 16 must have the consent and accompaniment of a legal guardian. The Studio reserves the right to verify age at the time of booking.

3. Pricing and Payment Terms

All listed prices include 10% consumption tax. Detailed rates are available on the Services page.

To confirm a session, a deposit of 30% of the total estimated cost is required. The remaining balance must be paid upon completion of the session or prior to the final delivery of files.

For corporate clients (B2B), payment is required within 14 days from the date of invoice issuance.

4. Cancellations and Changes

Changes to bookings or cancellations can be made free of charge up to 3 days before the scheduled session start date. For cancellations made less than 3 days prior, the deposit is non-refundable.

If the Studio must reschedule a session due to unforeseen circumstances, we will provide alternative dates or a full refund of any payments made.

5. Production Process and Revisions

For mixing and mastering services, clients are entitled to up to 3 rounds of revisions free of charge after the initial delivery. Any further revisions or significant structural changes to the project will incur additional fees.

Revision requests must be submitted within 14 days of the delivery date.

6. Ownership and Delivery

Intellectual property rights to the final masters and multitracks produced through the Services are transferred to the client only after 100% of the payment has been received. Until full payment, all rights remain reserved by the Studio.

The client guarantees that the works recorded do not infringe upon the copyrights of any third party. The Studio assumes no liability for disputes regarding copyright infringement.

7. Limitation of Liability

While the Studio employs industry-standard precautions to prevent data loss due to equipment failure or force majeure, we cannot guarantee permanent data storage. Archives are kept for 12 months after the session, after which they are permanently deleted.

If equipment is damaged due to client negligence, the Studio reserves the right to invoice the client for the full cost of repair or replacement.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from the use of the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nagoya District Court in the first instance.
