Our History and Philosophy

Established in 2018, Frottoncoreio operates with the goal of providing a simple, functional, and transparent recording environment within Nagoya's diverse music scene. We prioritize the purity of the source audio and technical precision over excessive processing or artificial enhancement.

Our operational philosophy is centered on accurately interpreting the client's intent and manifesting it as sound. We believe the engineer's role is to manage the technical complexity of the session, allowing the artist to remain fully immersed in their performance without distraction.

By leveraging our location in Sakae, we serve a wide range of needs, from local independent musicians to corporate podcast productions. Every session is approached with honest communication and a methodology backed by rigorous technical standards.

Studio Facilities and Equipment

The studio comprises a total area of 85m², optimized into three specialized rooms: a live room, a dedicated vocal booth, and a control room. This layout ensures an efficient workflow, whether the project requires isolated vocal tracks or simultaneous instrument recording.

Our technical inventory includes large-diaphragm condenser microphones for rich detail and professional nearfield monitors for accurate sonic representation. The acoustic treatment is designed to be neutral, avoiding frequency spikes to ensure that the captured audio remains natural and is easily adaptable during the subsequent mixing and mastering phases.

The facility can accommodate up to 6 people simultaneously, making it suitable for small band ensembles and collaborative recording sessions.

Workflow and Approach

A session at Frottoncoreio begins with a detailed consultation. We analyze the desired sonic image, review reference tracks, and establish specific goals to design the optimal microphone placement and signal path.

During the recording process, our engineers manage the technical environment entirely, fostering an atmosphere where artists can feel relaxed and focused. Following the session, we maintain strict data management protocols, ensuring all project files are securely archived for 12 months.

We maintain transparency throughout the delivery process. For mixing services, we include up to 3 rounds of revisions to ensure the final master meets the client's expectations.
